Artificial Turf Installers Tallahassee is a locally focused service-area company built around one simple idea: artificial turf works best when the preparation underneath it receives as much attention as the surface customers see.
Owner Mason Harper grew up just outside Tallahassee and spent much of his childhood helping his father maintain a handful of rental homes around Leon County. He remembers patching worn grass near gates, fighting shaded strips that never filled in, and seeing the same low areas turn to mud after summer storms. Those early weekends taught him that many lawn problems are really site problems: shade, drainage, traffic, soil, or the way a property is laid out.
After school, Mason moved into landscape construction and became especially interested in grading, drainage, hardscape preparation, and the structural work underneath finished outdoor spaces. Artificial turf caught his attention because the final appearance depended so heavily on those fundamentals. A beautiful turf product could still perform poorly if the base moved, the seams were rushed, or water had nowhere to go. He began specializing in turf projects and eventually formed Artificial Turf Installers Tallahassee to focus on installations throughout Tallahassee and Leon County.
Mason's view of the trade remains practical. He does not believe every natural lawn should be replaced. Healthy grass can be the right choice in many parts of a property. Turf earns its place where customers want a cleaner, more consistent, lower-maintenance surface for a difficult lawn area, dogs, golf practice, recreation, or play. That approach guides the company today, with installation lead Carlos Bennett and project coordinator Hannah Reed helping keep each job grounded in careful preparation, clear communication, and the way the customer will actually use the space.
We focus on Artificial Turf Installation, Pet Turf Installation, Putting Greens Installation, Sports Turf Installation, and Playground Turf Installation. Each service has its own page so you can see exactly what is involved before you call.
We are based around Tallahassee, FL and serve Leon County, including Centerville, Golden Eagle, Ox Bottom, Summerbrooke, Killearn Lakes, Killearn Estates, Southwood, Buck Lake, and Miccosukee.
We believe the base is part of the finished product. Grading, aggregate, compaction, drainage, seams, and edges deserve the same attention as turf color and feel.
A whole-yard conversion is not always necessary. We focus on the areas where turf solves a real problem and match the surface to pets, play, golf, training, or general landscape use.
Artificial turf reduces many lawn-care tasks, but it still requires cleaning and routine attention. We prefer clear expectations over sales promises.
We serve Tallahassee and Leon County with a small team that stays close to the site conditions, customer questions, and installation details from beginning to end.
